This project involved the complete construction of a bespoke oak-framed garage in Holberrow Green, built from the ground up to provide additional space and practical storage solutions for the client.

The client required a high-quality outbuilding that would not only serve as a functional garage but also complement the character of the surrounding property and rural setting. Working strictly to the architect’s specification and approved design, we delivered a traditional oak structure that blends timeless craftsmanship with structural integrity and modern performance standards.

With extensive experience in traditional oak structures, this project was a pleasure to undertake. The main structural frame was carefully assembled using time-honoured joinery techniques, combined with discreet modern fixings to ensure strength, stability, and longevity.

The cut roof construction allowed the building to truly take shape, showcasing the natural beauty and structural elegance of the exposed oak frame. Precision setting-out and craftsmanship were essential to achieving the clean lines and solid geometry required for a project of this standard.

A standout feature of the build is the bespoke, hand-built larch staircase leading to the upper level, along with a rear balcony that enhances both functionality and visual appeal. These elements were designed and constructed entirely on site, ensuring a perfect fit and cohesive finish with the main structure.

The completed oak garage provides generous storage and additional usable space while adding significant character and value to the property.
